Georgia/Ole Miss

We went to the Ole Miss game this weekend thanks to the Skeens.  They gave us the tickets.  Great seats, 3 rows from the field.  We left Friday and stayed in Birmingham.  Left out early in the morning for Oxford.  Ole Miss is beautiful!  We loved The Grove.  We walked around The Grove, listened to the band play Dixie, and bought Ole Miss Rebel t-shirts.
A view of The Grove.

Each tent in The Grove is impressive.
Big spread and very decorated.
Loved the banner.

Go Dawgs!

Love the Rebels in the back.

We told the boys they could go to Ole Miss, IF they get a scholarship!
We can't afford out of state tuition.

Labor Day Party at Paul's

Paul, Clay's uncle, decided to have a Labor Day party.  He killed two of his hogs and Papa Gabe made stew.  Everyone was invited and asked to bring a side.  It was a perfect afternoon and night.  A lot of good food, good people, and good fun.
Waiting in line for the food.

Jack and Sonya loaded down and hungry.

Jodie enjoying her plate.

Kaye and Todd eating too.

A perfect ending to the evening.  Fireworks!

Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Bowl

We went to the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Bowl against Boise State.  We had a really good time at the Fun Zone.  The boys played games, got a lot of free stuff, samples all over the place, and FREE Chick-Fil-A milkshakes.  YUM!
Getting ready. GO!

Gabe is in the lead.

But in the end, Pierce won.

We had to have our picture with the Geico Gecko

One of the many faces of Pierce.
I am so cute.
