Letterboxing in the Mountains

It was a beautiful Saturday, so Kaye and I took the kids to the mountains to play in the creek and letterbox. Our first stop was The Goats on the Roof in Tiger. We have passed it 100 times and finally stopped...well, there was a letterbox.

Pierce, Jamie, Gabe, and Jodie pose for a picture below a goat.

I had to get a picture of the kids with the goats and their houses in the background. Too cool! They had all kinds of ways to feed the goats. We ate ice cream and fudge, got the letterbox and then it was off to meet up with letterboxing friends.

After we hiked for a few miles, the kids played in the creek at Warwoman Dell.

Building a dam, hunting for crawdads, and splashing around.

Gabe found a salamander. We love them!

After boxing and playing, we met everyone at Louise's on the Lake for the best pizza around. Here is the adult table: The3DTs, Skunkle, Beachcomber, Isabeau, PHOTOBUG

Someone said we needed a stamp for our dinner so, Daniel of the The3DTs carved a pizza stamp. One slice for each person there! We talked to the owner and he has it in the restaurant.

Jaime and Gabe are up to something!
