Letterboxing Trip to Charleston

While the boys were at camp and Kaye's girls were visiting Pops, Kaye and I took a boxing trip to Charleston. We started out in downtown and walked our butts off looking for boxes.

They were everywhere and took us to amazing sights.

We were waiting for people to move from where one of the boxes was hiding. So it was photo time.

The pineapple is a symbol of Southern hospitality. Learned something new!

We went to an old Confederate cemetery. Those were some of my favorite boxes. The cemetery was beautiful.

We then went to Edisto Beach. We went to the coolest Serpitarium around! Snakes EVERYWHERE! I could have stayed and watched them for hours.

They also had alligators and turtles.

We went to the Angel Oak tree. It was huge.

Then we were off to the Isle of Palms. We hung out at the beach for about an hour. Then found some boxes.

Next we headed over to Fort Moultrie. We got some boxes and learned about Fort Moultrie. This is where we stamped in with beach, water, and Fort Sumnter off in the distance. Cool!

Just putting a box back.
Kaye and I had a great time. We laughed our heads off. Got a lot of boxes. Saw some amazing sights and ate and ate and ate SEAFOOD!
